ReplyDeleteHow would someone know that you believe in Jesus?
Today in my Bible reading, the next day the disciples saw that Jesus was walking and wanted to know where he was staying. He told him to follow him and find out. They followed him and saw where he was staying and then stayed with him for the next couple of days. I think that someone would know that I believe in Jesus if they really got to know me. I do believe in God very strongly and nothing will ever change that.

ReplyDeleteHow has Jesus surprised you in your life?
Today in my Bible reading, Jesus preformed a mirucal. There was a wedding in town and they were out of wine. Jesus made more wine. I think that one way that God has surprised me in my life was when he healed my aunt. We had all been praying for her and thinking of her and soon it just became a regular thing. We were not even thinking of what shape she was in and how well she was doing. We finally realized that she had been healed.

Nicodemus went to Jesus and said that he knew that no one could do what Jesus did in preforming miracles and all of that and then he asked how one could enter onto the kingdom of God. Jesus told him that he would have to be born again and that was the only way. Nicodemus was was puzzled. He said that there was no way that you could reenter your mother's womb and be born again. Jesus told him that flesh is born from flesh and that spirit is born from spirit. He also told him that in order to enter into the kingdom of God yo must be born from water and from spirit again. I truly took meeting Jesus seriously when i was in the sixth grade. we had a spiritual assessment week at school and there was one thing that the preacher said that i knew applied to me. She said that with God you can not be half in. You have to be all the way in meaning if you wanted to be saved then you had to act like it every day of the week and not just one Sundays or when ever you go to church. I really tok that to heart and have been trying to do the right thing ever since.

Does Jesus’ teaching about who is the greatest surprise you? Why?
Today in my Bile reading, it was time for every ine to pay their taxes. A man came up to one of the desciples and sked them if Jesus paid his taxes. He went into the temple and heard Jesus asking somone who paid the taxes other people or children Simon asnswered other people. Then they asked Jeusu who was the greatest in Heaven. Jesus then saw a little child and told them that if they did not become like that child then none of them could enter into the kingdom of Heaven. He also told them that id they caused this child to stumble then they chould kind a rock tie it to the selves and sink tho the bottom of the sea. Jesus's teaching about the greatest does not surprise me at all because he is right. wwe should all become like that child.

ReplyDeleteWhat’s the hardest thing Jesus could ask you to give up?
Today in my Bible reading,a man came up running to Jesus and asked him what he had to do to enet eternal life and also called him a good teacher. Jesus wanted to know why the man called him good. He said that no one was good except for God who has made and kept all of the ten commandments. The man said that he has followed them all since he was a boy. Jesus loved him and said to go and sell everything that he owned and he will have great tresure in heaven. The man's face fell and he walked away very sad because he was a very rich man and did not want to give up any of his wordly possesins. Jesus said to the desciples how hard it was for the rich to enter ito heaven for it would be easier for a camel to get through the eye of a needle. I think that the hardest thing that Jesus could ever ask me to give up is everything. It would honestly be really hard for me to give up every thing that i had because i have become so accustomed to it and it would be a big change.
