Wed. Job 1:1-22:


Today in my Bible reading, in the land of Uz there once was a man named Job. He trusted in God, did all things that were right and turned away from evil. He was given three sons and seven daughters. I think that i am most likely to question God's care when I am scared. I do that because when I am going through a really tough situation i get scared and I start to wonder if God cares. After the situation has taken place of course i know that God cared all along but It might not have seemed like it at the time.




Thurs. Job 2:1-13:


Today in my Bible reading, whenever God's sons came to present themselves before Jehovah, Satan was right there with them. I think that when someone else is in pain the way that i respond always respond depends on the circumstances. If they are in pain because they broke a nail then I probably will not care as much. If it is something bigger that that they i will be more compassionate. I should be that way all the time.




Fri. Job 38:1-41:


Today in my Bible reading, Job and the Lord were talking and it did not go as well as Job thought it would.  I think that many things around me remind me of God's greatness. The main thing that reminds me is the earth. When I go out side and look around i just think of how great God is. I also think that family is a big reminder of how great He is. When i visit my family all i can think is that God made them.

Mon. Esther 5:1-14:

Today in my Bible reading, Esther wasnted to ask the king something and he was prepared to give up half the kingdom. She wan5ted the king to join her fior lunch if it were to please him. The king said that he wanted to bring hanan to the palace so that they could fufill what Esther had asked. They ate and drank but the king still wanted to know what Esther really wanted.  Icannot reacall a time when I did something scary to obey God.

Fri. Esther 4:1-17:

Today in my Bible reading, after Mordecai had learned of what jad happend he tore his clother and went int to the city. He was bitter and he weeped loudly. He went to the kings gate but no one who was clothed in sack cloth was aloud beyound that poine. I think that i show mmy faith every do. In one was that I have shown it was when my dad was in the hospital. I was really scared and for a while i thought that he was going to have to stay there for a while,but i just kept my faith  and we were able to go home that same day.

Wed. Esther 2:1-23:

Today in my Bible reading, the king ordered a search for any young virguns in all of the land. Oncethey got to the palace he wanted them to betreated very well and basically have a make over. I think that I take the people in my life for granted every day. I am so used to having them aroung that i just do not really think to appreciate them at the time. Some times I think what and how life would be with out them, although I try not to think about it too much because it makes me really sad.

Mon. Nehemiah 8:1-18:

Today in my Bible reading, the time period of xerxes was at hand. He reighned ver 127 privinces. When ever I open the word of God I am expecting to get something new every time wether I am reading the scripture for the very first time or i have read it a million times brfore. I am also expecting to be able to use it in life. All of the scriptures can be used in life but I really want one that goes with my life at that time.

Today in my Bible reading, the queen threw a bif feast. On the seventh day the king commabnded the enchuns. I think that one difficult situation that has occured in my life that has helped me later is when my mom was in the hospital. It was really bad and I was really scared. But a few years later my dad had to go to the hospital and I was preprared.

Today in my Bible reading, a man was very sad and was asking to rebuild his city because that is where all of his wncestry was from. When ever I am working on a large project I always feel stressed. I feel that way becasue I don't think that I will have enough time to get all of the parts done. Even though i always do get it all done every time i am presented with a lerget project the stressfulness comes and it is over whelming.

Today in my Bible reading, a man wanted to rebuil the city of Judah because that was where is ancesters were from and he just wanted to rebuild it. I think that the relation ship with my cousin needs to be rebuilt. Over this summer she had a little argument with my grandmother and I ended up getting mixed up in all of it. She wanted me to kind of spy for her and i din't want to. I tried to tell herto not worry about it and i am not mad at her, but we have not seen each other or spoken since this summer.

Today in my Bible reading, There was a great out cry. There was not enough to eat and the men were saying that they had children and wives to feed.  I think that One way that i help the poor is through my church. Every month my youth group will go and find some one who does not have the time or money or who is just disabled and we will go out and clean their yard or clean up their house and just help them out in any way possible. Another way tht i helped the poor was with a food bank. at my church every month we would set every thing up and give food to people who could not afford it for what ever reason.

Fri. 1 Kings 19: 1-21:

Today in my Bible reading Jezebel was told of every wrong that Ahab had done and that he had killed all of the prophets. Jezebel said that if she did not make his life like one of them then she should be put to death. I think that the last time I felt sorry for my self was yesterday when i wasshopping for adress with my mom. I did not wanthte dress that we got and she said that that one was really cute so she made me try it on and that was the one that we bought. I still do not like the dress but i will just wear it to get it over with.

Mon. 2 Kings 11:1-21:

Today in my Bible when amother saw that her son was dead she wanted to kill the whole royal family. So they took their baby and hid him si that he could not be harmed. I think that my best examples in my Life are my parents. They always make it apoint it to do their best no matter how much hard work it takes. They always tell me to go the extra mile.

Tues. 2 Kings 22:1- 23:
Today in my Bible reading Josiah was only eight years old when he bacame king. He always did what was right according to the word of  God and followed the ways of his father, David. I think that when the Bible becomes a lost book that people began to forget the meaning of life. God wants us to try and get people saved so that they can go to Heaven. If the Bible is a lost book then no one will no how to get people saved, there would be no balance in the world, and everything would be out of order.

Thurs. 2 Kings 2: 13-25:


Today in my Bible reading Elisha took Elijah's cloak and said to the lord, where id Elijah. HE then divided the water in two and crossed over to  the other side. I think that some one else would know that I have a deep respect for God by just knowing me. I try to make it a point to respect God and all of his commandment. When people joke around about stuff like that it makes me very angry and i do not like it.

Wed. 2 Kings 2: 1-12:

Today in my Bible reading, Elisha and Elija went in to the  city and Elijah was going to be taken away by God. Many people asked if Elisha new that and he said that he knew and told them to be quiet. Elijah asked froa double poertion of Elisha's souln when he were to be taken up. He told him that he could have it as long as he saw him beiong taken up. I think that when i make a commitment i will go very hard to carry it out becasue when i say that i am going to do somehting i make sure thati do it.

Today in my Bible reading Jehoshaphat wen to the king. HE told the king that he would go into the battle in a disguise.  I am tempted to think that I can hid from God when i do something wrong. I try not to do wrong things often so that i can keep my self out of trouble. I have learned from previous experience that you can not hide from God.

Mon. 1 Kings 21: 1-29:

Today in my Bible reading someme ago there was an incident inviving the vinyatrd that belonged to Jezelite.Some one wanted the vinyard so that they could plant vegetables. I think that justice is very inportant in my life. It feels really good to have justice served and you had nothing to do with it. It is also good to know that every thing is ok.

Thurs. 1 Kings 18: 16-46:

Today in my Bible reading Obediah told Ahab about what Elijah did and it was bad. HE went to Elijah and fussed at him and brought him down. I think that my attitude towards Gods power is good. It amazes me to see all the things that he can do. I thinl that when we all get to Heaven his powers will be even beter.


Fri. 1 Kings 19: 1-21:

Today in my Bible reading Ahab tol Jezebel every thing about Elijah and she wasnot happy. She sadi that the gods would punish him and thata she would get even with him. I think that the the last time i felt sorry for my self was last week. I made a D on my math test and i knew that i was gonna get in trouble. My mom only fussed as me and threatened to take my phone away.

Today in my Bible reading, Elijah talked to the Lord and said that there was tro be no rain or dew for the next years unless he wants there to be. God said ok and sent the ravens to care for him over the next few years. I am tempted to impress people when I know that it is inportant or sometimes just to do it. I do it because it makes me feel good when they say that is so impressive and it is fun to do it. I try not to do so much so it will not seem like i amd self cinceded.

Today in my Bible reading Solomon was now king of Israel. He was building a very nice temple fro the people of Israel to worship and to pray in.  One thing that we can learn from Solomon is when we say to do things we should do them. We should mot just say that we are gonna do it then forget about it we should just do it right then and not have to worry about doing it later.

today in my Bible reading, Bathsheba went to the king and she asked him what he wanted. HE was very old and sick and  probably almost ready to die. I think that i could use God's wisdom in many situations. One of them is with my school life. My grades are slipping and I know that God could help them come back up if I do my part also.

Today in my Bible reading David made a deale with the king of Israel and he was able to marry his daughter. He brought her to Jeruselum because the temple was not yet ready.If I could ask for anything in the world it would probably be for wisdom. I would ask for wisdom so I could know what to do in certain situations. I usually try to do my best and get through them but if I had more wisdom it would be even easier.

Today in my Bible reading Bathsheeba was ordered into the room with Solomon. He said that her son would be next in line after him to be king and he made sure of it that very day. When things get confusing in my world I know that God is in controlle. I know that because he is Lord over everything and he is bigger than everything. I also know that because I have seen this in action.

Mon. 1Kings 5:1-27: 1/25/11

Today in my Bible reading Adonijah wanted be king but he was not next in line. His father spoiled him when he was Rouget so he apparently thought that every hung was about him. He got 50 men and chariots to ride before him . Whenever you don't make good decisions bad consequences usually follow. I try to make good divisions so that my mom won't get angry and so I will not be punished. Life is so much easier when the right decisions are made.

Fri. 2 Samuel 18: 1-18 : 1/21/11

Today in my Bible reading David wanted to march with the people but they told him that it was too dagerous and that he should just stay behind and watch the city. They went to the battle and the army was beaten very  badley. I thinkthat I am likely to loose controle in many situations. One of them is when I am given a huge reasponsibility. Sometimes I do not know what to do first and the I procrastnate and then I just loose it all. I also loose controle when I watch other children. I want them to do what I say and it does not always woud out that way so tht  just do what ever. When they start to get completely out of  hand then i loose total controle over everything.

Today in my Bible reading Absole would show great kindenss to the people of Israel and he would win there hearts. HE also really wanted to be king so he sset up in a way a little plot.  I think that the person who keeps my motives is my mother. The reason being is she is the person who usually sets most of my motives and she helps me along the way. I will sometimes try to set my own motives, but it never really works out like I plan.

Today in my Bible reading Joab was still still cared about absolum so he went to a woman for help. She told him to dress in all black so he would look as if he were sad over a lost one's death.  The way that I usually deal with family conflict id to just walk away. I do not like  to get caught up in all of that and a lot of times it can get very messy. I will also just tell them to stop and that it really is not necessary.

Mon. 2 Samuel 12: 1-12: 1/17/11

Today in my Bible reading am man came to a rich traveler and he neede a lace to stay and some food to eat. The rich man took one of the travelers sheep and fed it to him. Both David and God go very angry and they fussed and punished him for his crime.I think that the friend that loves me enough to correct me is my friend at church. She has always been a good friend to me and we both make sure that each of us is following in the right path. We are also very quick to correct each other.

Tues. 2 Sam. 12: 13-25: 1/18/11

Today in my Bible reading the rich man was punished for what he had done. God said that he would not die but he would loose his first born son. When the man went home his son was dead.I think that when I ask for God's forgiveness, I feel very guilty because i know that i have just done something very wrong. I also fell good because I know that there is someone who is willing ti forgive me.

Today in my Bible reading David saw a woman on the roof that went bu the name of bathsheba and he like her. He got messangers to send for here and they did and david and bathsheba slept together. Not long after that did bathsheba find out that she was pregnant. It is hard for me to admit a fault when i know that it is really wrong. I do no like to be wrong or do wrong and i never really have so that just makes it extra hard.

Today in my Bible reading david asked if there was a person that he could show God's kindness to. His servant told him of a man who could not walk and was lame in both feet. David summoned for him and told him that he would be very kind to him. He also told him that all of the land belinged to him and his sons and they would have to farm it. I think that one promise that needs to be kept in my life is just to really focus on God more and just to listen to him.

Today in my Bible reading David became king over Israel. The people came to him and they said that they were his own flesh and blood. God told him that he would become king and shepherd the people of Israel.I think that one way that a person could become closer to god is if they just began to follow him closely and if they just really bagan to meditate on his word. They can also get closer to him while spreading his word to other people.

Today in my Bible reading Samel went to a which and wanted to see saul. Saul told him that he and hi s sons would be with him tomorrow. Somethings that would be cosidered occult practices is if you are in a group that is practicing evil or worshiping evil and is not of God. That does not make God happy at all because that means that you have gone and found another "god" andinstead of believing that trith you are beleiving a lie. If you are involved in that then you are wasting your life.

Today in my Bible readiing samuel died and the whole country came to his funeral.There was aman who held a bussiness who had a wife who was very nice but he was brutish and mean.David heard of his bussiness and told his men to go and check it out.I think that one way God will keep us from making mistakes is that he lets us learn fron them. I am pretty sure that when he sees us constantly making the same mistake over an over agian he knows to let us learn ourselves.
