Fri. 1 Samuel 8:1-5: 12/9/10
When Samuel was an old man he set his sone up as judges. They were nothing like him. The only wanted to do things for themselves and nothing for any one else. I am very greedy at many times like when I am eating food. I do not really like to share and I do not like to leave any for any one else. I think that I can change if i really work hard at it.

Week 7: Wednesday
Wed. 1 Samuel 1:1-28: 12/8/10
today in my Bible reading Hannah could not have any children but she really wanted some. She prayed to GOd so she could have children. Her husbands other wife would taunt her.I think that one promise that I have made to God and have kept is that I would try to do better in school and with my temper. Last year was the worst year for me. My grades were horrible and at one point I was very close to failing. I thought that I was going to have to repeat the seventh grade. This year my grades are much better and I am very pround of that. I also struggled with my temper. I would get so mad at little things and I would just walk around with a frown on my face. This year all I have to do is count to 10 really slow and I am alright.

Week 7 : Tuesday
Tues. Ruth 4:1-22 : 12/7/10
Today in my Bible reading Boaz went to the other relative just as he had said he would to ruth. He asked the relative if he wanted to marry her abut the said no.I think that their could be many future reasons for obeyng God. Of them is if you are young like 13 or 14 and God tells you that he wants you to be a teacher but instead you want to go off and do your own thing that could set your life back majorly. By the time that you realize that you should have listened to God you might be 30 or 40 and all you would have been able to think is that you should obeyed God when you were younger.

Mon. Ruth 3:1-18: 12/6/10
Today in my Bible reading, Naoimi waqnted Ruth to marry Boaz. Ruth went to him and her told her to lay down at his feet to rest for the night.I think that some surprising methods that God has used on my life is dreams. Sometimes I will be sleeping and out of no where I will see something that has nothins to with any thing at the current moment. Mabey a couple of weeks later I will see what took place in that dream in action. It may not be some big fancy scene that came from my dream but I still think that that is cool that I get to see some of my dreams on action.

Boaz started to like her so he told his servants to put things on the ground just for her. readingI think that my reputation has come as an advantage in many ways. One way in that I know alot of people and they say that I am cool. One last way is that I have the friends that I have. My friends are not just friends with any one. You have to be chosen.

Today in my Bible reading Naomi had two sons who married moabite wives. The two sons died and rith was left alone with them. She told them to go back to thier families and mabey they could remarry. One of them said that they would go back to their families but Ruth said that she wanted to stay with Naomi. Difficulties can affect friendships in many ways. If you are struggling in you relation ship with a friend things will be come harder and that could jepardize the relationship.

Roday in my Bible reading the philistines had captured Samson and had made him perform for them. He told he servat to put him up a gainst to pillars. Then he prayed to God to remember him one last time and then he died with the philistines. I do not think that I understand God's patience very well. I am a very impatient person and when I want things I want them now. I know that this is not a very good character trait,and I am working on it.I know that God will answer all prayers in his time and that his time is the best, but some times his time takes a very long time.
