God Chooses Isaiah: When did you last realize your continuing need for God’s forgiveness?

Today in my Bible reading, after the king died Isaiah said that he saw the Lord seated on a throne. I think that I last realized my continuing need for god's forgiveness at a retreat about a month a go. About a month ago my church had a retreat and i thought that it my be fun and cool to go, so I did. The first service that we had talked about how we were all sinners and that we really needed God's forgiveness. After that out youth preacher showed us a clip of the Passion of Christ and at that moment i realized how much i really needed God's forgiveness. I always knew that we should repent and before that i took it very lightly, but since then i really take into consideration of how much we really need forgiveness from God.

  2. Tues. Isaiah 53
The Suffering Servant: How would you describe what Jesus did for you?

Today in my reading,it talke about how when Jesus cam here, he did not make a big show of it. He did not come on a fancy robe or garments. Instead he came as an innocent baby rapped in cloths lying in a manger. I think that i would describe what Jesus did for me as giving. He kn ew that he did not have to give up his life and suffer for us the way he did, but he was willing to do it anyway. He knew that he did not have to leave he Heavenly home and come and live and earthly life but he choose to any way. If i had a choice like that i do not know if i would be able to do what he did,but knowing that he did do that for me makes me feel really special.

God Calls a Prophet: What do you think about God using your life?

today in my Bible reading, the Lord came to Jeremiah and and told him that he knew him before he was in the womb and after he was in the womb. God told him that he was to be a prophet and that he was set apart. Jeremiah said that he could not be a prophet because he was too young but God told him that he should never say that he is too young. God told him that he must go to all the people that he tells him to and say what he commands. I think that it would be great for God to use my life. I have always wanted to be used for something great that concerned God's kingdom. If he were to use me right now I would be really happy.

The Book Burning: How much risk is involved in your relationship with God?

Today in my Bible reading, the king as ruled for four years and he came to Josiah. He told him that he must write down what ever he says. He told him that is was stuff about Egypt. At this point in my life there is not much risk that is involved with my relation ship with God. Maybe in the future there might be, but not at this point.I also hope that i never have to face a risk that involves me and my relation ship with God unless I am ready.

Jeremiah in the Well: What part of your life compares in any way with Jeremiah’s time in the well?

Today in my Bible reading, God told him that if any one stayed in the city they were gonna die. Either by sword, famine or plague. Then God told him that if they would escape the city then they would live. For all the people who stayed, the city would be given to the Babylonians and things would be really bad
